The Greater Lincolnshire Leadership Board (Joint Committee)
Following the announcement of the Devolution Deal for Greater Lincolnshire by the Chancellor on 16 March 2016, the 10 Greater Lincolnshire Councils have established a Joint Committee which will be known as the Greater Lincolnshire Leadership Board.
The remit of the Board will be to have oversight of the continuing discussions with Government regarding the devolution deal, lead on the accelerated growth agenda (in partnership with the LEPs), develop the governance arrangements for a Combined Authority and focus on making sure that Greater Lincolnshire is operationally ready to take on the new responsibilities.
The first public meeting of the Board will take place on the 13 May 2016 at 10.00am in Committee Rooms 1 & 2 at City of Lincoln Council offices.
