Step into Spring with the Friends of Boston Cemetery
Nature rules in Boston's Victorian cemetery where spring has sprung. And another guided walk is planned for Sunday, April 9, when the Friends of Boston Cemetery will welcome all visitors for a free tour.
The open days held so far have been extremely popular and all interested are asked to gather at the crematorium from 10am where there will be refreshments and toilets available.
There will be a guided walk from 10.30am to 12.30pm to observe nature and interesting gravestones in the older part of the cemetery.
From 1pm there will be a guided tour of the cemetery's listed buildings and at 2pm a new-to-old tour, starting at the Marian Road entrance and walking through the cemetery finishing in the Victorian part.
A guided walk taking in the spring flowers will be the theme at 3pm with the day's events finishing at 4pm.
