Vikings in Central Park

The Vikings came to Central Park - and nobody died! Around 1,750 people attended over the two days at the weekend.

Vikings of Middle England set up their authentic village, complete with armoury and weapons and their own blacksmith. It was an educational and fun day with children interested after studying Vikings at school.

The event funded by Boston Town Area Committee.

Kristina Willoughby, Town Centre Services Manager for Boston Borough Council said: "We received really positive comments from the public. The battle displays were well received and we hope to be able to expand on this and make it an annual event."
