If you go down to the woods...
...No, stop! Don't go to the woods. Go to Central Park instead for the Teddy Bears Picnic on Saturday, August 11.
Bring your children and their teddy bears and gather for the Teddy Bears' Picnic, sponsored by Oldrids & Downtown.
Organised by Andy Izard, a volunteer of Boston Town Area Committee sub-group, this free event begins at 10.30 am with a picnic at noon, closing at 2pm.
There will be a variety of exciting entertainment - from colouring crafts with Boston More In Common, free circus skills, fairground rides, competitions and face painting. Also, be in for a chance in winning the first 2018 Oldrids & Downtown Isaac Bear. Plus, there is the Central Park beach, now open for sandcastle building for the whole of August.
Present at the Teddy Bears' Picnic will be Lincs FM, Mini Police, Girl Guides and Boston Library. Enjoy the presence of a pink tractor with bubbles as well as capturng your best moments with the photo booth. Don't forget to pick up your picnics from Oldrids Department Store, Boston from their restaurant on the second floor.
