Top award for traditional ice cream

Three of the borough's newest food establishments, and another which has been around since 1936, have passed the latest Boston Borough Council environmental health food hygiene inspections with flying colours.

The newbies - Sutterton Greggs, Sutterton Subway and Sutterton Burger King - all achieved the highest five rating, and are joined by Skinners Ice Cream at 1 Kingsway, Boston, which has been in business for 82 years.

Also receiving the top food hygiene award were: The Railway Hotel, London Road, Boston; The Angel Inn, Church End, Wrangle; The Little Pantry, Silver Court, Boston; Café De Paris, Bridge Street, Boston; The Minstrels, Main Road, Wrangle; Kebab A Way, Main Ridge East, Boston; Wrangle Parish Hall; Market Snack Bar, Boston Market Place; Little Explorers Nurseries, Willington Road, Kirton; European Food and Wine, High Street, Boston, and Hambleton Farm Butchers, Johnsons Garden Centre, Wainfleet Road, Boston.
