Armed Forces Day is June 30.

Also in attendance at the ceremony in Boston were Joan Ashton, representing the Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, Squadron Leader Dan Betts, from RAF Coningsby, Brian Thornton, of the Royal Naval Association, Les Budding, of the Veterans' Memorial Plaque Committee, Paul Duddigan, president of the Boston Royal British Legion branch, and standard bearers Frank Thompson, Ex-Services Committee, Cllr Ossie Snell, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, and Peter Morris, of Boston Royal British Legion.

They were joined by John Cooper, representing Royal Air Forces Association, other RBL members, immediate past Mayor, Cllr Mary Wright, and Cllr Paul Mould.
