Mayor of Boston welcomes Egyptian Paralympic Team
Mayor of Boston, Councillor Colin Brotherton, Mayoress, Mrs Kate Wainwright, and portfolio holder for leisure services, Cllr Yvonne Gunter, welcomed the Egyptian paralympic team to the council chamber.
The team visited the council chamber following their open training session at the Princess Royal Sports Arena earlier the same day, which the mayor and members of the public attended. The powerlifting team, which was training in Louth, joined the mayor's reception in the afternoon.

The mayor offered his best wishes to the team with their training in Boston, and at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Councillor Doreen Stephenson, Lincolnshire Champion for the London 2012 Games, said: "We were very privileged to host the Egyptian Paralympic Team in our county, and enjoyed showing them the sites of Lincolnshire including the Boston Borough Council Chamber. All of the athletes had a fantastic time with the mayor, and we were delighted that Cllr Brotherton was able to join us throughout this special week."
Cllr Brotherton, Mrs Wainwright and Cllr Gunter joined the team for a meal at The Masala Zone in Boston in the evening.
