Welfare reforms - calling all landlords...

All property landlords need to be aware of welfare reforms, which may affect many of their tenants from next April (2013).

The next Landlords' Forum, at Municipal Buildings in West Street, Boston, on Tuesday, October 30 2012, at 2pm will feature a detailed presentation on the reforms from Boston Borough Council's revenues and benefits team.

The event is open to all landlords and associated professions. It is an excellent opportunity to meet with other landlords and with officers from the council to find out about new legislation affecting rented properties.

All the local authorities in Lincolnshire work in partnership to host a series of forums across the county, and another event will be held in Gainsborough on Tuesday, October 23.

Even if landlords are unable to attend the forum, they are encouraged to register for Lincolnshire Landlords newsletter which is sent out via email every two months, with important news, events and changes to legislation.
