Walker's get baking
Members from Boston Health Walk Groups cast aside their walking boots for baking aprons last week in support of Macmillan Coffee Mornings.
Tried and tested cakes of every description and flavour were brought to the events and with a cup of tea or coffee were enjoyed by all attending.
Raffles, guess "How many tea bags in the pot", and "What's the bear's name" were all part of the activities organised by the members to raise as much as possible for this vital service.
Frances Taylor Health Walks Co-ordinator said "All of our walking groups wanted to support the Macmillan coffee mornings and with more cakes than could ever be eaten arriving at each event showed just how keen they all were."
The grand total raised was £1211.33.
