Then tuck in, for tickets are still available for the Mayor of Boston's annual charity fish and chip supper. As well as top nosh guests will also be entertained with live music from Blues Boy Kings and a supporting disco.

The event is at Hubberts Bridge Community Centre on Saturday, November 16, 7.30pm to midnight and tickets are £15, which includes your fish and chip supper. A bar will be available.

Get your tickets from Alison Hull on 01205 314511 or email her at alison.hull@boston.gov.uk

You will be helping two good causes - this year's Mayor's charities, the Salvation Army and Boston Citizens Advice Bureau.

Mayor Cllr Paul Kenny said: "The evening is excellent value - it has to be worth the ticket price just to see me take to the dance floor!

"There is a serious side - this is one of my major events during the year to raise money for charities which help people who really deserve a little leg up in life. We can all do our own little bit to help."
