Young musicians from Bomber County at Albert Hall

Around 150 students represented Boston area schools when they performed as part of the 600-strong Lincolnshire Massed Ensemble in the Royal Albert Hall as part of the Schools Prom 2013.

Players and singers from Boston College, Boston Grammar School, Boston High School, Carlton Road Academy and Haven High Technology College performed Lincolnshire Skies: A Tribute to the Dambusters.

The piece marked the 70th anniversary of the Dambusters' mission and celebrated Lincolnshire's aviation heritage.

Accompanying the Boston area children were Mayor and Mayoress of Boston, Cllr Paul and Mrs Pam Kenny.

The children met Squadron Leader George "Johnny" Johnson at the Albert Hall - the last surviving British bomb aimer of the Dambusters.
