Resurfacing work planned for B1192 Hubberts Bridge

A section of the B1192 at Hubberts Bridge, and the footpath which runs alongside it, will be resurfaced in September.

Work will be carried out from Boardsides to Fen Lane and will include making improvements to kerbs and drains.

It's set to start on 29 September and will finish at the beginning of November, weather permitting, and will be carried out seven days a week.

Access will be provided from one-end only for local residents and businesses. Workers will be on-site until the works are completed to assist members of the public, and a signed diversion route will be in place.

Andy Wharff, Area Highways Manager, said: "These works are part of our continued investment in the local road network. They'll greatly improve the surface of the road and footpath, and will extend the lives of these by several years."
