Taverner Road stop-off for Father Christmas

Father Christmas had a helper to officially declare open the newly-refurbished play area for younger children at Taverner Road.

Cllr Peter Bedford, leader of Boston Borough Council and a member of the Lincolnshire panel of WREN (Waste Recycling Envrionmental), which gave the scheme a grant of around £10,000, helped Santa cut the festive tinselled ribbon.

The Boston Mayflower play area has a new surface, some refurbished play equipment and some new apparatus.

Families were invited to attend and enjoyed the Nativity donkeys, face painting and craft activities.
