All of our accommodation listed is Quality Assessed with either the AA or Visit Britain. They have joined forces to ensure that all accommodation is assessed using the same criteria. The criteria used for the assessments will be based on issues such as overall quality, level of service, range of facilities, cleanliness etc.

There will be other areas of assessment relevant to the type of accommodation, for example if they welcome,. walkers, cyclists or dogs, as well as mobility access.

All accommodation will be rated using Stars (although some accomodation may still be using the diamonds) from one to five with one being the most basic to five star being the most luxurious.
