Elected on 3rd May 2007, Councillor Gerry Clare is serving as The Deputy Mayor of Boston for 2010/11, having done so previously in 2008/09.

Councillor Clare is a Member of the Overview & Scrutiny – Performance Review Committee, the Overview & Scrutiny – Policy & Projects Committee, the Licensing/Regulatory and Appeals Committee, the internal Way Forward Group and the Boston Town Area Committee (BTAC).

Councillor Clare also represents the Council on the Boston Community Transport Shadow Board, the Fydell House Centre Ltd Committee, the St. Leonard’s Hospital Trust and the Wash and North Norfolk Coast Special Area of Conservation Members Group as a substitute member.
