Elected on 3rd May 2007, Councillor Alison Austin is a Member of the Planning Commitee, Overview and Scrutiny - Policy & Projects Committee, Overview and Scrutiny - Performance Review & Governance Committee, Licensing/Regulatory and Appeals Committee and Boston Town Area Committee.

Councillor Austin also represents the Council on the Fens Tourism Group, the Wash and North Norfolk Coast Special Area of Conservation Members Group, the Wash Estuary Strategy Members Group, the Boston Grammar School Foundation Governors, the Sir Thomas Middlecott and Other Charity Trust (Skirbeck Quarter Charities) and is the Council's substitute Member on the County-wide Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
