The leaders of all ten Greater Lincolnshire councils met on Monday 24 February 2025 and agreed to work together on proposals for what local government reorganisation could look like for our county.

Boston Borough Council is delighted to announce a new Markers and Farmers market that will be held in the Market Place within the town centre. The market will take place on the last Saturday of every month until October 2025 and will be open from 9am to 2pm.

Last week, the powerful words of young people from across South & East Lincolnshire were unveiled, ready to inspire and engage the community. In October 2024, Zest conducted workshops for over 400 young individuals aged 9-18 across the region, including East Lindsey, Boston Borough, and South Holland. These workshops, co-led by local youth, provided a platform for the next generation to express their thoughts on a wide range of topics — from unity and mental health to the universe's big questions.

The events team at Boston Borough Council has teamed up with local organisers to create and plan an extraordinary lineup of community events for Boston Town Centre throughout 2025. The different events vary in celebrating the rich heritage, culture, history, and diversity of Boston.

Multi-million pound funding is being invested in Boston through a number of transformational projects that will bring long-term and significant benefits for the community.

Demolition of an empty shop unit and a former office block in Boston Town Centre is now underway, marking a major milestone in the Rosegarth Square redevelopment project. Over the coming weeks, visitors will witness the removal of the former B&M store and Crown House building, previously housing the job centre.
