New chance to win £100

Few things in life are certain, but it's a safe bet that most people could do with an extra £100 and all want to do their best to keep themselves and their loved ones safe and well.

Someone this month can achieve both those things by simply submitting their details so that they can be signed up for automated flood warnings from the Environment Agency and then going into a £100 cash prize draw.

So far the Floodline Lottery has awarded £300 in £100 cash prizes to three lucky winners who all live in a flood risk area and signed up to Floodline

This month's Floodline Lottery sponsor is UK Flood Barriers, and they know a thing or two about the impact of flooding, such as that suffered in Boston in December, 2013.

Their highly-experienced project planners, surveyors, installers and customer service advisors have been working in Boston since the 2013 flood helping to make properties more flood resilient.

UK Flood Barriers is the UK's leading flood specialist, project managing and delivering high-profile contracts nationwide for both public and private sector clients.

Since being established in 2007, the Worcestershire-based company has successfully delivered flood protection measures to more than 5,000 homes across almost 100 projects for major clients including the Environment Agency, local authorities and leading UK construction companies.

All of the UK Flood Barriers contracting team are certified "Flood Professionals", meaning they are qualified to survey and install Kitemark-certified flood mitigation products to exacting BSI Kitemark standards.

Their Flood Professionals status not only means they are certified to survey, specify and install flood mitigation products, they are also able to instruct property owners on product deployment and general product maintenance.

As part of its "end-to-end" service offer, UK Flood Barriers can provide an annual maintenance package to cover all the mitigation products it installs.

The February Floodline Lottery winner was Mr Richard Killick, of Wrangle, the £100 cash prize sponsored by Mark Leafe, of Boston-based flood protection company Lincs Flood Defence.

To stand a chance of winning this month's £100 cash prize send your details to Boston Borough Council for sign-up to the Environment Agency's Floodline system, agreeing to receive flood warnings by landline, mobile phone, email and text message. It is best to sign up for as many of these as you can, giving more chance to be alerted to flood risk whether at home, at work or away from your address for any other reason.

Generous sponsors - Lincs Flood Defence, of Boston, Kier, UK Flood Barriers and Gravitas (International) Ltd - have made cash available for five monthly £100 prize draws between December and April.

The Floodline Lottery is open to flood-risk residents in Boston borough, East Lindsey and South Holland.

To be in with a chance of winning the next £100 cash prize in the Floodline Lottery all you have to do is complete the form on this page or email your details by filling in the coupon at www.boston.gov.uk/floodlinelottery no later than 9am Thursday, March 31, so you can be registered with the EA's Floodline Warnings Direct.
