Calendar cash for Mayor's charities

Proceeds from sales of the official Boston 2016 calendar have been handed to the Mayor, Cllr Richard Austin, for his charities - Butterfly Hospice and Boston Woods Trust.

Production costs were covered by those who sponsored the pages - Boston Enterprise Centre, Boston Standard, AllSigns Boston, Chattertons Solicitors, Paul Skinner, Johnsons Garden Centre, Boston Target, Afrotec Hair and Beauty and Relaxation Room, DCI Jet Tec, Izzy Rose, Jakemans, Oldrids and Downtown and Geoff Moulder Leisure Complex.

£2,346.24 was raised and Cllr Austin said: "I want to thank all the sponsors who, through their generosity, have again made this project possible and all those who bought a calendar."

Handing the cheque to Cllr Austin are Andrew Malkin, communications manager, and Emma Staff, communications and marketing officer. They designed the calendar, sought sponsors and organised printing and distribution.
