Vote for memorial garden
An appeal has been issued for support for a bid for funding for a project to develop a memorial garden near Boston for all of Lincolnshire's road accident victims.
Appeal organiser Anne Bourne is asking for votes for the project on the Aviva community fund website.
Got to http://www.aviva.co.uk/good-thinking/community-fund/ and click on the "Vote now" tab. It will ask you to register and once you have done that you will have up to ten votes per person to use. Search projects for "Lincolnshire Road Victims Memorial" and you can use all ten votes to support the appeal.
The plan is to develop a restful memorial space in Boston's Westgate Woods accessible by all, for relatives, friends and colleagues to come and remember those who have died in tragic circumstances on county roads.
Anne, of Boston, lost her daughter in a horrendous crash in which four people died and five children were left without their mothers. Her other daughter was seriously injured.
