Celebration of farming
Boston borough's brilliant farming heritage will be celebrated with an event in Boston Market Place on Sunday, March 19.
Lincolnshire Preservation Group and vintage tractors will fill the Marks and Spencer side of the Market Place.
The event will run from 10am to 3pm and include trade stands and new farm vehicles.
A vegetable art competition for primary schools will be held, with a first prize of £100 from sponsors Staples Vegetables.
Boston Sausage will be serving hot food, Tates Fish and Chip shop is opening for the event and Seventh Heaven cafe will be open for hot drinks and cake.
Sam's House will keep the children entertained with free family crafts.
NFU mutual are supporting this event. Visitors can gain more information on the Red Tractor Scheme.
Come along and have a go at milking the NFU cow. There will be lots of other of interactive learning tools to explore the world of farming.
