Do you know your onions... or five decorated biscuits?
Exhibitors at the Age UK Boston and South Holland horticultural and craft show are nourishing their best specimens ready for exhibition on Saturday, September 30.
The show will take place at Johnsons Garden Centre, Wainfleet Road, Boston. Judging will be at 11am with public viewing from 12.30pm. Winners' trophies will be presented at 1.30pm.
Entrants are invited to leave their exhibits behind after 2.15pm to indicate they are happy for them to be included in an auction after the presentations to raise funds for the annual show.
Entries must be made on a form available from Age UK, William Garfit House, 116 High Street, Boston, between 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, and from Johnsons and Rumblin' Tums Cafe, Fish Hill, Boston, during normal opening hours. Or you can print one off below.
Entries must be submitted to Age UK Boston and South Holland by September 15 with the fee of £1 per entry.
Exhibitors have to have their entries in place between 4pm and 7.30pm on Friday, September 29, and between 8am and 10am on the morning of the show.
There will be vegetable, flower, cookery, arts and crafts and young persons' sections along with an allotment wheelbarrow display and a fun category for a character made out of fruit and veg. A full list of exhibitor rules and categories can be found in the PDF file below.
