Boston crematorium opened in April 1966 and currently receives about 1,300 funerals per year. The extensive grounds are laid to lawn, with memorial rose beds, and many varieties of trees and shrubs.

There is car parking at the crematorium, a waiting room with public toilets, and also disabled persons toilet facilities. There are no catering facilities, but there are a number of cafes and teashops back in the town. Please click on map for details of how to access town centre.

The chapel has seating for 80+ mourners with standing room for larger congregations.  Music is via an internet based download system which supports 98% of all requests.  We have adopted the Charter for the Bereaved and our cemetery and crematorium services are provided using the guiding principles of the charter.  The Charter for the Bereaved was launched by the Institute of Burial & Cremation administration, and sets out 33 defined consumer rights, which are a commitment to providing a meaningful, quality service. A copy of the charter can be obtained from the cemetery and crematorium office.  We are a member of the Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities.
