Join Boston Youth Council

Potential young politicians are being sought to form a youth council for Boston.

People aged between 13 and 19, who are passionate about young people's issues and who care about living in the borough and want to learn more about local government, democracy and how they can influence decisions are invited to attend the launch of the Boston Youth Council on Friday, November 23, 5pm until 7pm, in the Committee Room at Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston.

In partnership with Lincolnshire County Council's Youth and Community Development Team, Boston Borough Council is offering young people the chance to get their voices heard and to shape how services can be delivered by young people and for young people in the borough.

Working alongside elected members the Youth Council for Boston will have the chance to raise their issues, have their issues heard and make decisions on issues which affect young people's lives.
