Town Rangers answer calls for help
Boston's Town Rangers have answered more than 185 calls for help from shops during February, March and April.
In February they caught 22 shoplifters, 17 more in March and 20 in April. During the three months a further 46 known shoplifters were followed in stores as a deterrent.
The Town Rangers are provided by Boston BID (Business Improvement District). Latest figures show 22 people were identified for criminal behaviour, 37 incidents of anti-social behaviour were dealt with and Rangers used their first-aid skills on eight occasions. One aggressive behaviour incident was dealt with in April.
