Blind society coffee morning fundraiser
A meet the Mayor and Mayoress coffee morning raised £382 for South Lincolnshire Blind Society when it was held at the home of the chairman, Irene Christopher.
The event featured a raffle with donated prizes, cake and fruit and vegetable stalls, competitions and crafts for sale.
Mayor and Mayoress of Boston, Cllr Paul Kenny and Mrs Pam Kenny, attended and Mrs Kenny won the guess-the-sweets-in-jar competition with an accurate estimation of 60. She passed her prize on to the second-best guesser.
