Remembrance Sunday message from The Mayor

As you are aware it is the time of year when we ask people to buy a poppy and wear it with pride.

This year I am asking people to join us at the war memorial on Sunday, November 10, for the traditional Remembrance Sunday service at 11am. Please wear your poppy to support the Royal British Legion and come along on Sunday and show your respects for those who have served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice, their lives. It would be great to see the biggest crowd that we have ever seen attending this service in our town.
