APPLICATION FOR REVIEW OF PREMISES LICENCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Boston Borough Council has, under section 51 of the Licensing Act 2003, received an application for review of the Premises Licence in respect of:
European Food & Wine, 36 Red Lion Street, Boston PE21 6PZ
The application is submitted by the following Responsible Authority: Chief Constable of Lincolnshire Police.
The grounds on which the application for review is made are:
Lincolnshire Police state they have obtained evidence which indicate the management of the premises has been operating in contravention of criminal acts and this is relevant to the promotion of the Licensing Objectives. The keeping of smuggled goods on relevant premises and failure to comply with conditions are offences under the Licensing Act 2003.
The place where the record of the application and grounds for review may be inspected and where the register of the Licensing Authority is kept is the Licensing Section, Boston Borough Council, Municipal Buildings, West Street, Boston, PE21 8QR.
Any responsible authority or other person may make a representation in writing, with respect to this review, to the Licensing Section at the above address between 6 November and 3 December 2018.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is level 5 on the Standard Scale, currently £5,000
