Countdown to Central Park film nights
We're on the final countdown to Boston's big film nights this Friday and Saturday in Central Park.
Watching the big screen in the outdoors and under the stars brings a magical new dimension to film fans young and not so young.
There will be all the usual film goodies available - popcorn, sweets, candy floss and soft drinks from the park cafe. You can bring your own picnic and refreshments if you wish. This is a family-focused event and there will not now be a licensed bar and patrons are reminded that consumption of alcohol in Central Park is not permitted.
But a good time is sure to be had by all with Mary Poppins poppin' in for the showing of Mary Poppins on Friday night and a real-life Minion having naughty fun at Saturday's showing of Despicable Me.
There are still tickets available for both screenings, £6 for adults, £4 for children and concessions and £18 for a family of two adults and two children.
They are available from the council offices in West Street, the Guildhall and the Geoff Moulder Leisure Complex, and by phoning 01205 314200. They will also be available at Central Park on the nights.
Gates on both days open at 6.30pm with screenings at 7.30pm.
This event is supported by Chattertons Solicitors and Wealth Management.
