COUNCIL TAX BILLING

Residents will shortly receive their Council Tax bill for the new financial year.  Please check your bill for your instalment dates and amounts. The first instalment for the new year will be due on 1st April (unless you pay by Direct Debit on 4th, 12th, 20th or 28th of the month). We anticipate our phone lines will be busy over the next few weeks. Phone lines will be extended Monday to Thursday until 7pm between March 17 and 27. Phone lines are open until 4.45pm on March 21 and 28.

Climate Change Strategy

The South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership has approved a new Climate Change Strategy for the sub-region covering East Lindsey, Boston and South Holland.

The document is the next step in the Climate Change aspirations of the three Councils, moving beyond the confines of our own carbon footprint and emissions to look at the wider issues and opportunities that Climate Change presents for our local communities.

The Councils cannot deliver this strategy in isolation and a new South and East Lincolnshire Climate Action Network (SELCAN) will be established to bring together all relevant stakeholders and ensure delivery at all levels as we collectively work towards a net zero ambition.

If you are interested in learning more about SELCAN, contact Climate Change and Environment Manager, Sarah Baker at sarah.baker@e-lindsey.gov.uk.
