Boston Beach Build: Sand sculptures and competitions
On Friday 28 July Boston is to welcome World Sand Sculpting Champion, Nicola Wood where she will be hosting a fun, educational, all-weather sand sculpture workshop and showcasing some of her work.
Nicola has twice won gold at the World Sand Sculpting Championships in America and Canada and has also worked as an artist and presenter on the BBC show Deadly Art.
Pop along to Central Park beach area from 10.30am to watch Nichola and see some amazing sand sculpturing and then join in and try your very own mini masterpiece. There will be plenty of tools and water available and you can enjoy hands-on family fun whilst turning your ideas into 3D art. Take photos and impress your friends and family with your new skills.
Nicola said: "I am really looking forward to my first visit to Boston and sculpting at the event in the town's Central Park. I'm also excited to see what the children of Boston will create."
This is a free fun activity for all ages and everyone is welcome, event ends at 3pm.
