Making a Difference Case Study - Desmond Portas

Organisation/Group:

We'll Meet Again WW2 Museum, Freiston Shore, Boston

Why You Got Involved?

Because we saw and believed in the museum project and what was being created for our area.

What Impact/Difference is it Making to the Community?

The museum is educating children and adults alike about World War One and World War Two and not glorifying, but the facts about our history and showing physically the items that were around during those times.

How Would You Encourage Other to Get Involved in Their Community?

If you see something that you like, interested in and you are fit enough to get involved with, also to be able to give the time required ..go for it!
It can be very personally rewarding!!
