Call Back Service

Our customer contact team have successfully launched a new 'Call Back Service'. This is an automated call back service, after waiting 60 seconds in the queue, callers are given the option to leave their number for a member of the team to call them back. Numbers then virtually remain in the queue and when the caller becomes first, they will get a call back.

Transparency

In February 2015 the Government issued the Local Government Transparency Code 2015.

Part 2 of the Code requires Boston Borough Council to proactively publish, as a minimum, certain categories of information.

This information includes Expenditure exceeding £250, Government Procurement Card transactions, Procurement Information, Local Authority Land, Social Housing Assets, Grants to voluntary, community and social Enterprise organisations, Organisation Chart, Trade Union Facility time, Parking account, Parking spaces, Senior Salaries, Constitution, Pay multiple, Fraud and Waste Contracts.

The Local Government Transparency Code 2015 does not replace or supersede any existing legal framework for access to public sector information provided by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and the Re-Use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015.

By complying with the requirements of the Code, we are working to improve the accessibility, relevance and value of data on our spending, revealing more detailed information than ever before on where your money goes.
